As you may know ESTES is promoting the \u201cSnapshots”, multicenter prospective observational studies. In continuation of this initiative, there is a new launch of ESTES Snapshot Study on Small Bowel Obstruction.<\/p>

Primary Objective<\/strong>
To explore differences in patients, management and\u00a0outcomes across the entire cohort to identify areas of practice\u00a0variability resulting in apparent differences in outcome\u00a0warranting further study. The outcomes that the study will\u00a0examine are:
\u25aa Incidence of small bowel obstruction by etiology.
\u25aa Differences in clinical presentation.
\u25aa Diagnostic work-up.
\u25aa Non-operative management strategies.
\u25aa Time to surgery and outcomes.
\u25aa Complications related to disease and\/or therapies within\u00a060 post-operative days.
\u25aa Length of Emergency Department and Hospital stay.
\u25aa Re-admission within 6 months for related conditions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
